Javier is a talented bilingual Loan Counselor who practices the art of Bonsai and cherishes the people and places of Northern California.  Soon after Javier was born in Santiago Chile, his family moved to the San Francisco area where he remained through high school.  In 1994, Javier moved to Sonoma County to attend Sonoma State University.  After receiving his BA in Global Studies/Micro-Credit Lending, and experiencing the beauty of and friendly atmosphere, Javier chose to make the area
his home.

Javier pursued a career in the Real Estate industry with the initial goal of leveraging his educational background and bilingual skills into a successful position as a Realtor.  While working as an assistant to a top producing Realtor in Petaluma, California, Javier’s enthusiasm and skill was noticed by John Sannar, then a Senior Loan Officer with Princeton Capital.  In 2003, Javier refocused his career and took his first lending position working alongside John at Princeton Capital.

Over the past 3+ years, Javier has worked closely with John to hone his skills and has grown into an extremely talented and respected Loan Counselor.  In 2005, Javier took a position with Blue Oak Mortgage Corporation where he serves his clients with expertise and competence.

Javier currently lives in Sebastopol, California, where he enjoys the outdoors, hiking, biking and gardening at his home. An avid bonsai enthusiast, Javier has over 30 different species and styles.

Javier notes parallels between the art of bonsai and helping his clients “With bonsai, it takes vision. You have to be able to see the whole picture, not just what’s in front of you, but what can be in the future. My job doesn’t stop after providing the financing clients need today; I hope to use my skills to assist in my clients’ financial growth in the years that follow.”
