On this first installment of the “Home of the Week”, I write to you in haste - a pending appointment in less than 10 minutes - a decent size cup of coffee and a sugary almond croissant adds to the hastiness!
On to the home. Drum roll…this week’s pick is 95 Sunny Hill Drive in West Petaluma.
This unique property rests in one of my favorite Petaluma neighborhoods just above Sunnyslope Avenue near McNear Elementary School and Park. This property is listed by Peg King of Coldwell Banker Petaluma, click here fore more information. The Sunny Hill area is a subdivision of customs built in the 1960’s: single-level ranch homes with brick masonry siding and wrap-around driveways, “50’s moderns” with their floor to ceiling windows and expansive entertaining areas looking like something hanging off the Hollywood Hills, and “Eichler-esque” homes like this property, with open beam ceilings and oak floors.
My real affection for this neighborhood began with my sale of 1 Morning Sun, a “50’s Modern” with some of the most amazing panoramic views of Petaluma and the Sonoma Mountains. See for yourself! This home’s new owner couldn’t be more perfect - a buyer for an international furniture company who we’ll just call Mr. C.
We’ll, my appointment is here. If you’d like more information on this week’s “home of the week” just drop me a note, I’d be happy to take you up the hill.
-Armand
